Being Reflective

Today I watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I am not really sure why, but it got me in the thinking, reflective mood. Maybe it's because I felt sorry for the characters so I was thinking about taking life for granted, I don't know, but I am naturally an overthinker. Every night I lie in bed reviewing my day, what was good and bad about it, who I spent it with, that sort of thing. I also get more emotional at night and you may think, oh thats because your tired, but I don't think it is. Its like when I read a book or watch a film, there is nothing distracting me so I can completely concentrate on what I am doing.

I would like to live a life full of inspiration and meaning, or what is the point? I enjoy art, so I need inspiration for my artwork at school. My life is the same, to enjoy it I need inspiration as well as love, family and friends.

Im not really sure why I wrote this blog post or what the purpose of it was, but it ended up getting quite deep... So to continue the deepness I leave you with this quote (which I now have as my screensaver...):

"A light heart lives long."

Thank you for reading this and I hope you have gained something from it :) also if you haven't already, please watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower because it is a brilliant film.

  1. Hi! I have just found your blog, I love it!

I often get in those moods too at night and I agree, thinking is the only thing you concentrate on so thoughts tend to get pretty deep and take over!

Perks is one of my favourite favourite films and books, I love all of the characters - they are all so complex yet have characteristics and traits that I see in the people around me all the time. The film was probably the most emotional film I've seen - I cried all the way through it and then for a good half an hour in the car on my way back too! Even from the beginning of the film I didn't think it could get any more emotional yet it did! I can't wait to watch it again on dvd, and Logan Lerman, gosh he's beautiful!

Sorry for the long comment aha:)
